To meet consumer demand and enable the continued pace of growth in our business, Chick-fil-A (CFA) is embarking on a journey to transform our Supply Chain. The scale of CFA’s supply chain network requires enhanced traceability capabilities to facilitate continuous supply for our restaurant Operators and ensure the safety and quality of our product at all times. As CFA’s supplier and distribution network grows in both scale and complexity, it becomes imperative to develop, coordinate and align End-to-End (E2E) traceability capabilities between CFA and our valued partners.  These efforts include investment in the process, technology and integrations that enable the seamless transfer of product and standardized data between partners and CFA.  This enables the ability to quickly and accurately trace compromised product at the restaurant back through the supply chain network to isolate lot level quality exposure at the Supplier level and quickly pull all impacted product off the shelf.  Safe, high-quality food is a cornerstone of the brand expectation that all our guests have come to expect. The Product Lead will function effectively as the Product Owner supporting Supplier Quality and Safety (SQS) leadership within Supply Chain.  There is contractual support to help enable partner coordination, but the Product Lead will be responsible for developing and refining Supply Chain traceability requirements.  This includes coordinating with CFA Supplier and Distribution partners to understand industry best practices, and then synthesizing that context into industry leading and/or best practice strategies for CFA’s unique network.  The successful candidate will need to have a functional knowledge of Supply Chain and traceability core competencies including GS1 standards, standard electronic data interchange (EDI) protocols and distribution operations best practices.  Additionally, data competency will be important as much of CFA’s traceability evolution is enabled through enhanced data capture, transfer, transformation, and visualization.  Lastly, the role will require effective coordination with the internal stakeholders that support the enablement of traceability capabilities including Digital Transformation & Technology (DTT), SQS business outcome owners, Supply Chain Data and Analytics (SCDA), and other operational teams that would benefit from the data enabled through the improved traceability capabilities.  With these partnerships in place, the individual will then drive execution against the established business requirements. Over the next several years, this role is expected to lead design, implementation, and evaluation of business processes across the restaurant chain, distribution and supplier partners. This person will have the opportunity to create and integrate enterprise-level solutions and will support the drive for supply chain innovation unique to the food service industry.   Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.
