Individual municipalities also have the latitude to make changes to the state level code. The Restaurant Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance team has the resposability for staying current with Food Code at all three levels to ensure all restaurant procudures, equipment/small wares, and restaurant design are in compliance in every city we conduct business. This team has the same responsibility for international restaurants as well. The Principle Team Leader for this area of the business must work with tremendous autonomy as they are the face of CFA Inc. and Operators externally with regulatory agencies.
