The Cloud Architect and Cloud Operations Senior Lead role has two main function. First, the role is responsible for leading and building our cloud operations capability. This requires leading a small team of cloud operations engineers that will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating infrastructure and systems needed for our manufacturing and distribution businesses. This will require setting up a team that automates extensively, measures success, and drives operational excellence in the cloud.
Second, this role will partner with our agile DevOps teams to drive and deliver cloud architecture best practices and proof of concepts for innovation initiatives and projects from big data to business critical high transaction platforms required for manufacturing and distribution.
This role requires the ability to develop a thorough understanding of business needs and craft a vision to architect and operate excellent solutions. This role requires an ambitious activator who is comfortable leading efforts to invest in automating processes and continuously improve designs to maximize resiliency.

This support is shared amongst the team members to cover weekends and weeknights.
