The Full Stack Mobile App Lead role will lead the DevOps team responsible for creating and operating an Android/IOS mobile app with a cloud-based backend that puts supply chain in the hands of our restaurants and distribution delivery drivers. The agile, highly productive team delivers releases in an agile fashion about every two weeks to continuously improve existing functionality and delivery new functionality. This team develops in an agile fashion and also supports the app after its operating in the cloud. The goal is to design for failure and automate responses in the cloud to possible issues so they can be worked during normal hours.
A primary responsibility of this role is to provide technology leadership and drive engineering and operational excellence on a team of 5 to 7 engineers and designers. The technology stack includes React Native and Google Firebase on the front end and python based microservices running on Kubernetes in AWS on the backend. Continuously driving for ways to improve and simplify our technology stack will require a passion for technology and reducing complexity.
Partnering with senior business stakeholders in Restaurant Services and Transportation to understand the business and estimate, plan, and prioritize features is also an essential part of this role.

Note - This opportunity includes both building, deploying, and running solutions that could require off hours support. This support is shared amongst the team members to cover weekends and weeknights. The goal is to design for failure and automate responses in the cloud to possible issues so they can be worked during normal hours.
