The Project Lead, Delivery Logistics and Operations will play a critical role in Chick-fil-A’s effort to build scalable and differentiated delivery capabilities. With an understanding of data, business, and operations, the ideal candidate will bring an analytical mindset to identifying opportunities and solving complex problems. The role requires an ability to coordinate work across functions, working with restaurant designers and process engineers on one day and working with business consultants and restaurant operators the next day. Success in the role will require a willingness to spend time in both spreadsheets and restaurants, with both cross-functional partners and our restaurant Operators.
Chick-fil-A is seeking a growth and process-minded leader who is able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-disciplinary teammates. This leader should have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity and be ready to turn on a dime as the marketplace evolves. This leader will serve as a subject matter expert for delivery, responsible for serving Chick-fil-A Restaurant Operators as they navigate a complex and maturing delivery marketplace. Finally, this leader will be responsible for health of nationwide delivery operations, working with internal Field Staff and external contractors to oversee the support of Operators executing delivery.
This role is part of the On-Demand Delivery Platform, which is on the Beyond the Restaurant team, and reports to the Innovation & New Ventures department.
