    The Sr. Team Administrator is a full-time position responsible for providing administrative support to the Employment Law Department’s attorneys within the Employment, Franchising and Litigation group of the Legal Department at Chick-fil-A, Inc. This position will report directly to one of the team’s employment attorneys; will provide direct support for 2 or 3 additional assigned attorneys; and will work from time to time with the entire Employment team and the broader Employment, Franchising and Litigation group. The position is non-exempt and typically requires 40 hours of work per week.


    • Manage calendars for multiple attorneys with busy meeting, work, and project schedules.
    • Organize internal meetings, working cross-functionally with administrators and professionals from all departments across the business.
    • Schedule, coordinate, help facilitate and provide ongoing support for various Employment team and the broader Employment, Franchising and Litigation group
    • Assist in logistics planning and preparation for training classes.
    • Create or revise/update training outlines, PowerPoint presentations and other materials.
    • Enter and maintain data in the Employment team’s SharePoint site.
    • General file management using hardcopy filing practices and electronic iManage practices.
    • Prepare, revise and distribute letters, memos, correspondence, agreements and various other documents.
    • Provide attorneys with internal fact research based upon information in CFA's payroll and other systems pertaining to various employment issues, disputes, litigation matters, and pre-litigation matters.
    • Provide support to attorneys on Chick-fil-A field-related matters, including but not limited to matters pertaining to restaurants, facilities, and sponsored events operated by
      Chick-fil-A, Inc. or its affiliated entities
      ; provide support to attorneys on various Talent Department- and Corporate Staff-related matters, franchise matters and litigation matters, as needed.
    • Assist attorneys in fact research and preparation of responses to subpoenas, garnishments, third party information requests, etc.
    • Answer, screen and return calls/emails to others on various matters and issues.
    • Make travel arrangements for the attorneys, including flights, hotels, and conference/seminar registrations.
    • Prepare and submit expense reports for the team.
    • Lead or participate in hosting team or Legal Department visitors and guests.
    • Maintain and manage attorneys’ contacts.
    • Track/process team Bar and license renewals, organization memberships and subscriptions.
    • Organize and distribute mail for the entire team.
    • Complete various other administrative tasks and projects, as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 5 years of broad legal administrative or general administrative experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (must have high-level of proficiency with Outlook, including calendaring).
    • Experience with various technology platforms and aptitude to learn new software.
    • Strong self-starter with superior follow-through, project management and organizational skills.
    • Maintain the confidentiality of information and exercise discretion in interactions with Staff, outside counsel and third parties.
    • Ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative, independent judgment and attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing environments.
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and identify and set priorities with a limited degree of supervision.
    • Ability to support a wide spectrum of individuals and work styles, and manage a high volume of matters, with a limited degree of supervision.
    • Ability to discern needed improvements, communicate recommendations or solutions and adapt procedures and processes to effectively complete projects and meet team goals/requirements.
    • Resourceful and forward-thinking with ability to anticipate needs.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 10+ years of legal administrative or general administrative experience
    • Experience working in a law firm or legal department environment
    • General knowledge of employment practices and terminology
    • General experience in creating and improving business processes
    • Knowledge or/familiarity with DocuSign, iManage, and various Office 360 applications
