  • Overview

    The Financial Modeling Analyst in Corporate Analytics and Solutions is a professional role focused on modeling complex business scenarios and reporting financial data to leaders across the business.  This individual will have extensive experience translating new business concepts into financial statement models to allow leaders to better understand financial performance and make key business decisions.  A significant understanding of accounting concepts, financial return metrics and methodologies, technology tools, and data structures is also required.  The role requires a skilled problem-solver who is constantly innovating and learning new skills while engaging with stakeholders across the business to meet shared objectives.  The role responsibilities listed below should be performed with minimal supervision.


      • Provide technical leadership and consultation to new business ventures as they identify key financial assumptions that drive revenue, operations and capital costs
      • Leverage assumptions to design, build and maintain sophisticated financial statement models for new business ventures
      • Analyze risks and opportunities of new business ventures by providing sensitivities and scenario analysis
      • Consult on financial strategic planning, cost allocation and goal setting for new business ventures
      • Provide leadership to develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure long-term financial health
      • Provide financial statement modeling output for consolidation into long-term Chick-fil-A forecasting model
      • Develop and present financial analyses, reports and presentations to senior leadership to support decision making for new investments
      • Help provide predictive and prescriptive analytics through advanced technologies
      • Provide consultation on overall Chick-fil-A, Inc. financial strategy metrics

    Minimum Qualifications


        • Strong financial acumen and analytical agility
        • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
        • Experience managing multiple deadlines and business partners
        • Self-starter that demonstrates eagerness to learn and assume responsibility
        • Detail oriented
        • Ability to transform operational business assumptions into financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of related experience
    • MBA or Masters in Finance, Accounting or related field 
    • Experience in Supply Chain Financial Modeling
    • Investment Banking or consulting experience
    • Experience in financial systems and reporting
    • Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx and/or Tableau
