The Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Department encompasses Procurement and Operations functions that exist to enable the creation and growth of healthy market ecosystems across the organization. This is done by enabling increased capacity in Restaurants, reducing complexity for Operators and Team Members, all while relentlessly protecting the Brand.
The Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Operations Summer Internship program offers students the opportunity to engage in real-world corporate initiatives derived from our real-time business needs. Our program is structured to expose students to corporate culture, diverse learning opportunities, cross-functional project work, while enhancing their business acumen and Supply Chain knowledge. Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Interns are also encouraged to influence the organization by providing fresh perspective on company challenges and help to explore solutions.
The 2020 Supply Chain Operations Summer Intern will primarily work with Chick-fil-A Supply’s Business Excellence Team. Possible projects include (but are not limited to) Distribution Center time studies, process validation, SOP creation and Kaizen events.
In addition to corporate events and activities, Supply Chain Interns will have the opportunity for in-depth tours of Chick-fil-A supplier and partner facilities, one-on-one learning experiences with leaders across the department, and In-Restaurant experience with Chick-fil-A Operators and Team Members.
