Overview

The Total Rewards team, in Chick-fil-A’s People Department, serves as a strategic partner to the Support Center and provides consultation to leadership as it relates to the Talent Management System. Specifically, this position is responsible for evaluation roles and providing input into the design, implementation, and communication of compensation programs ensuring they are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and supportive of the company's total rewards philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate discussions with leadership to effectively evaluate jobs and determine the appropriate placement in the job level structure
  • Partners with Talent Consultants to provide consultation on compensation program and policy matters
  • Provides consultation and support to leadership on compensation matters, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions and recommendations
  • Collaborates with the compensation team to evaluate and determine appropriate compensation for Staff below the Sr. Leadership level
  • Serves as a resource for rewards issues for all staff
  • Provides information to leadership with respect to current legislation pertaining to rewards programs
  • Provides expertise and advice to all staff and leadership on interpretation, development, and revision of policies, procedures and compensation programs
  • Partners in supporting Staff and leadership understanding of compensation related programs and practices through ongoing communication and training
  • Manages difficult situations requiring tack and professionalism
  • Provides information to staff via verbal and written and verbal communication
  • Develops policies and procedures for the administration of reward programs Minimum

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Degree in Human resources, Business, Finance or other related degree
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in a corporate of consulting environment including experience in job evaluation methods, administration, and communication of compensation programs
  • Strong consulting and relationship-building skills
  • Effective at influencing and pushing back to leadership when opinions differ
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Executive presence and ability to influence all organization levels effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in a corporate or consulting environment including experience in job evaluation methods, administration, and communication of compensation programs
  • Experience in compensation benchmarking and market research Minimum
