Overview

The Digital Commerce team aims to create the Customer’s favorite way to order through a fast and frictionless digital commerce experience. The Order Creation sub-team powers the experience from app or web launch through order submission to the restaurant. The role of Project Lead, Digital Order Creation plays a critical part in the execution of our campaigns within the digital ordering experience.

Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of project and product management, ensuring that campaigns, promotions, and tests show up seamlessly and accurately across our digital ordering channels. The Project Lead will translate business and brand priorities into execution, partnering across functions to both operationalize campaigns and deliver meaningful product enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end campaign execution in digital channels by gathering requirements, coordinating with technical and brand partners, and ensuring accurate implementation.
  • Measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization.
  • Act as a product manager for select initiatives—identifying customer needs, defining solutions, and partnering with engineering and design to deliver features that drive business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Brand, Advertising & Media, Menu & Packaging, and Engineering to align strategy with execution in the customer digital experience.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with a proven ability to manage multiple work streams. Experience in product management, project management, software development, or digital product management is strongly preferred.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with a knack for building alignment across diverse teams.
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and business opportunities.
  • A passion for enhancing the digital customer experience.

This role is part of the Customer Digital Experience team, and reports under the Marketing department.

Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead multiple workstreams tied to brand campaigns within the digital customer experience. Oversee campaign activation across digital properties, track and report performance, and recommend enhancements to maximize impact.
  • Partner Alignment & Coordination: Serve as the connector between Brand, Advertising & Media, and CDX, ensuring digital campaign activations are fully aligned with broader brand initiatives and timelines.
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with Menu & Packaging to define how food launches and tests should be represented in digital channels. Translate those requirements into actionable specifications and work with Engineering to bring them to life accurately.
