The Chick-fil-A Tax Department is responsible for tax compliance, technology, special projects, research and audit defense functions for independently-owned franchised restaurants and corporate activities. We exist to provide tax planning, regulatory reporting and consulting to stakeholders, governments, external auditors and business leaders. As we grow in complexity and global footprint, we seek to influence business decisions, reduce tax liability and mitigate risk.
The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant, Sales Tax Compliance, will be to support the Sales Tax Compliance Function by assisting with state and local sales and use tax compliance for Operators, Chick-fil-A, Inc. and related affiliates. A Sr. Accountant, Sales Tax Compliance, performs work under limited supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters.
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the growth and development of the Tax Department through active participation in department meetings, conferences, webinars, and professional/personal development.
Our Flexible Future model offers a healthy mix of working in person and virtually, strengthening key elements of the Chick-fil-A culture by fostering collaboration and community.
