Overview

The Lead Systems Analyst is a key member of the Staff Technology Solutions sub-department within Digital Transformation & Technology, providing expert support and driving innovation for Procure-to-Pay, Project Accounting, and Fixed Asset Accounting.  The role will also lead Oracle Cloud ERP internal control activities ensuring proper role design and maintenance, segregation of duties, and access provisioning and removal. This role will be integral to key ERP infrastructure activities, such as environment refreshes, safeguarding the integrity of our digital assets across all environments.  

 

This position leads the development, implementation, and support of enterprise solutions within the Support Center's Oracle Cloud Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to optimize Procure-to-Pay, project accounting, and fixed asset lifecycle management. This includes ensuring accurate Procurement, Invoicing, Payables, capitalization, depreciation, and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies.

 

As a trusted technology partner, you will collaborate with the Procure-to-Pay team and the Capital Asset Reporting team to understand business needs, translate them into effective technology solutions, and contribute to the strategic roadmap for Oracle Cloud ERP.

 

You'll be instrumental in delivering critical business objectives, envisioning future state processes, and providing scalable technology solutions to support the organization's growth.

 

This role directly serves the Procure-to-Pay and Capital Asset Reporting team within Financial Services, providing specialized expertise in Procure-to-Pay, Project Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, and Securities & Controls modules within Oracle Cloud ERP.  For all internal control activities, this role serves across all Corporate Accounting Services teams and users.

 

This role will predominantly focus on optimizing the procure-to-pay business capability, with supporting efforts directed towards acquire-to-retire processes and corporate accounting internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Manage/own the relationship and demystify technology for business partners
  • Manage support and maintenance of business systems and products
  • Analyze and evaluate the current business process; identify areas of improvement
  • Gather requirements, create documentation and resources for system and product implementations, changes, and issues 
  • Collaborate and interact with developers, stakeholders, system architects and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of changes and issue resolution
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for systems/platforms supported
  • Define strategy, lifecycle, and design for systems/platforms supported
  • Maintain adherence to internal assurance activities (e.g., segregation of duties)
  • Leadership in ERP infrastructure activities (e.g., data refreshes; sizing exercises) 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience in Management/computer information systems, computer science
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience leading medium-sized system implementations
  • Experience leading significant system or platform enhancements/implementations
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Agile development approaches and techniques 
  • Experience in driving teams and management to decisions  
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them to functional/technical requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence  
  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration
  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management/computer information systems, computer science
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong experience leading complex, cross-functional, medium-sized system Implementations; knowledge of accounting capabilities
  • Certified business analysis professional
