Overview

With the accelerated appetite for and adoption of automation and AI across the world, Chick-fil-A has identified a need to enable and implement automation and AI capabilities and initiatives that will transform the work and user experience for all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A. This role is for an experienced program lead to drive foundational AI workstreams to organizational alignment and completion.

 

This role will serve as a thought leader and enterprise thought partner for the strategic decisions and workstreams needed to enable AI outcomes across the enterprise. It is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, coordinating, and delivering strategic, foundational, cross-functional decisions and workstreams that are necessary to enable AI capabilities and AI enterprise outcomes for the organization in alignment with the overarching Chick-fil-A AI strategy led by this role's leadership.

 

This role is responsible for owning technically and/or operationally complex situations, making them simple enough to action to the next productive step. This role is responsible for communicating complex concepts in a simple and effective manner (verbally and/or written/presentation) across all departments and all levels of the organization. 

 

This role requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple competing and variable workstreams in parallel.  This role is responsible for landing critical decisions and is viewed as the independent owner of their work. It involves influencing the organization at various levels, from senior individual contributors to team leaders to senior leaders, providing risk assessment, subject matter expertise, and guidance on AI. 

 

The person in this role must identify as a  'gap filler'; someone who can identify gaps, make a plan to fill them, and then action the next step(s) to close the gap.  They must have high IQ and emotional intelligence to communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives across the organization.

 

Key stakeholders include Legal (Privacy & Compliance), CCEA (Corporate Communications, External Affairs), and DTT (DLT, DMT, Cybersecurity, Identity & Access, all DTT sub-dept leadership teams).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of decisions and workstreams with impact across multiple areas of the organization
  • Demystify technology for multiple all functional areas across the organization
  • Lead cross-functional decisions and workstreams that require understanding requirements, creating, coordinating, and or collecting documentation, and delivering & communicating decisions and workstreams in an effective way 
  • Collaborate and interact with stakeholders and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of technical decisions and/or workstreams
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for area of responsibility supported
  • Define strategy for workstreams and decisions supported 
  • Build strategic decisions with business partners/stakeholders
  • Exercise expertise and thought leadership over areas of responsibility

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field of study
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Experience leading large, complex technical initiatives and programs
  • Experience in driving teams, management, and senior leadership to decisions  
  • Ability to understand and influence business needs, then translate them to techno-functional requirements that deliver desired outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence  
  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration
  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical trends and opportunities  
  • Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision 
  • Team player who is committed to both the team and the initiatives
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate and make decisions in the gray
