Overview

The Sr. Lead Insights Analyst, People (Talent Acquisition) will consult and assist in building data and analytics solutions for teams across the People Department, with an emphasis on Talent Acquisition. Work will include streamlining and automation of new and existing reports and dashboards, as well as trend analysis and occasional predictive analytics to identify key insights, risks, and opportunities in that shape recommendations to the Talent Acquisition team, leadership, and stakeholders across Chick-fil-A about where, when, and how to identify, engage, and hire future Staff.

 

The person in this role will curate and derive insights from new and existing KPIs and will be expected to craft compelling insights-informed recommendations based on to audiences at multiple levels, including senior leaders. This role will be required to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and insights. While the role will serve as a primary point of contact for Talent Acquisition-related analytics requests, this person will also support other HR-related analytics areas for Chick-fil-A and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and stakeholder manager for Talent Acquisition’s data and analytics requests.
  • Gather systems data, market intelligence, and benchmarking research to provide strategic consultation, insights, analysis and reports to support Talent Experience. This includes leveraging analytics across the recruiting cycle to inform recruiting strategies and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Design, create, and manage scalable reporting, dashboarding, and data visualizations for ongoing and recurring analyses to support strategic decisions; proactively seek feedback from teammates and end users to continually improve products.
  • Translate data into relevant insights and implications; support stakeholders in interpreting findings through effective communication to audiences with varying levels of data proficiency.
  • Create summary data presentation materials to interpret, capture, and convey key trends and insights to help Talent Experience stakeholders leverage data in decision making.
  • Persuasively recommend insights-informed action to leaders and peers across multiple business areas
  • Confidently leverage a broad suite of Chick-fil-A’s standard analytics tooling to blend, model, and share information across HRIS and Recruiting systems using Tableau, SQL, Databricks, and AWS services
  • Partner with Legal, Security, and others to ensure data handling and storage compliance to both external regulations, as well as Chick-fil-A internal requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or the equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Data Visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Thoughtspot)
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Experience with data ETL/ELT using Python, R, Alteryx, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to apply statistical methods in business context

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Hands-on experience with analysis of sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Experience building predictive or prescriptive analytics solutions
  • Data process automation experience
  • Experience leading or coaching others in data, analytics, or other technical skills
