The Instructional Technologist is responsible for the integration of technology and instructional design to create effective, engaging, and accessible learning experiences. They work collaboratively with business SMEs, Learning Strategists, Learning Partners, and internal Learning & Development Staff to design and implement instructional strategies and learning tools that support diverse learner needs. This role blends technical skills with expertise in adult learning principles to enhance the quality of learning for the audience.
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms (e.g., LearnUpon, Workday Learn, Cornerstone, Canvas).
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning theory.
Experience with emerging technologies and trends in the learning industry.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices in instructional design and technology.
