Overview

The Chick-fil-A Philanthropic Financial Services team exists to provide financial guidance, financial reporting and compliance support surrounding philanthropic activities. We aim to raise the financial and business acumen of charitable stakeholders and influence philanthropic strategy. As an intern within Philanthropic Financial Services, you will contribute to Chick-fil-A’s impact through meaningful work in support of philanthropic initiatives. This role will receive guidance from an intern coach, be exposed to leaders throughout the business, and contribute to financial projects related to various charitable entities.

Responsibilities

  • Receive exposure to the financial services department of a nonprofit organization.
  • Support the annual budget process of a nonprofit organization.
  • Interview key leaders from various functional areas.
  • Support financial report and analytic requests
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting
  • Conduct analysis on fixed assets
  • Assist with special projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelors Degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft standard suite of work solutions (excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to demonstrate accountability to work responsibilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to learn new systems and presentation software
  • Willingness to learn skills in financial storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student preferred
