The Power Automation and Controls Operator will be part of a technical organization under the Controls Engineer. Their tasks will range from operating the equipment, basic troubleshooting and business leading training. All in an effort to operate industrial equipment with excellence in a Distribution Warehouse. These individuals will be working with state-of-the-art industrial equipment and will be working with a diverse team to help deliver automation processes to the highest standards. Transportation – Growing fleet of delivery vehicles that supply Chick-fil-A restaurants
Business Requirements o Low Voltage Training and Qualification o Autonomous Maintenance Capabilities: § CILs (Clean, Inspect and Lubrication) § IO checks for alignment, debris, obstruction, cleanliness § Schedule Safety device operation checks § Centerline checks o Controls § On the job training with introduction to PLC’s and HMIs § On the job introductory training to ladder logic o Loss Elimination Tasks: § Identifying defects § Identifying and reporting equipment inefficiencies § Documenting RCAs, Fishbone o Equipment Tasks: § Clearing jams § Reworking scrap § Reworking Rejects § Removing Scrap § Confirming Quality Product § Reloading/Reworking Material § Operate typical MHE equipment (Fork, Clamp, Riders, scissor lifts, fall protection) Customer Relations o Willing to work rotating shifts o Able to display skills in warehouse automation processes, including operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment o Maintaining accurate records and data o Develop strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills |
· Experience working with a Warehouse Management System, ideally Manhattan. · Previous experience operating automation equipment like: ASRS, Robotic Cells, Shuttles, Start stop Conveyors |
