Project Lead, Supply Chain

Supply Chain is building a Data and Analytics engine to power our future Supply Chain.  Much of the data that powers this engine comes externally from our Supplier and Distribution partners.  The Partner Data Lead will oversee the Partner Data Support (PDS) team who represents the communication and relational arms of Supply Chain Data Services to these partners.

This role will be critical in helping establish and maintain processes to hold our partners accountable in providing complete and accurate data.  To maintain quality partner data, this individual will need to leverage existing processes, systems, and contingent workers to ensure that our partners stay compliant.  This person will be responsible for the day-to-day activities, which includes monitoring and measuring data quality levels, identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, driving partners to resolution, and onboarding new supply chain datasets.  This individual will work across the enterprise with teams including Enterprise Analytics, Traceability, Supplier Quality and Safety, Digital Transformation & Technology, Distribution, and other various Supply Chain groups. 

This partner data is key in providing all Supply Chain functions timely, quality information and the applied analysis they need for business decisions supporting Chick-fil-A Restaurant Operators.  Chick-fil-A Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring that Chick-fil-A Restaurants receive safe and reliable product in a manner that flows as seamlessly with Restaurant Operations as possible.

• Oversee existing contingent worker-based Partner Data Support team, including training, coordinating work assignments, scheduling, setting priorities and review of work in progress
• Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are documented and up to date
• Develop a project plan, roadmap and progress tracking for the continued expansion of this function
• Ensure daily follow-up with external partners to resolve data issues and taking direct action as needed
• Monitor data quality of critical data and perform root cause analysis of issues to ensure continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Analytics, Digital Transformation & Technology, Enterprise Analytics and Traceability teams to define and develop cross-entity solutions
• Standup a similar Partner Data Support function for CFA Supply Chain Master Data
• Perform ongoing analysis of data quality issues and make recommendations on design and maintenance of a best-in-class data organization
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Data Services on establishing KPI goals, tracking progress, and reporting out monthly

• Bachelors Degree
• 3-5 years of experience holding external partners accountable to results
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable to new tools
• Ability to measure progress and hold others accountable to results
• Able to anticipate needs, lead multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities
• Attention to detail, proactive/self-starter mentality
• Demonstrated planning and execution ability
• Strong ability to drive results while managing relationships
