This role will support the Talent Acquisition team by serving as the technology consultant, expert and project leader to drive technological advancement to further enable the Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Talent Acquisition objectives/needs and identify, define, and scope technology projects to meet those needs.
  • Serve as the business owner of short term and long-term strategy for the Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, responsible for alignment, prioritization, sequencing of the TA Technology roadmap.
  • Manage multiple Talent Acquisition technology projects through the entire project life cycle ensuring systems meet design standards and guidelines, ensure successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.
  • Partner with Talent Systems, IT, project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to lead the definition of and evaluate technical/business requirements, define project scope, and objectives.
  • Establish and manage project plans and schedules, track project milestones, manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Identify project governance structure, project team roles, assemble and manage project team members
  • Responsible for change management and system adoption strategies and implementation.
  • Identify, manage, and drive project decisions and resolutions for project issues and risks.
  • Serve as the escalation point for project team members and primary liaison with project sponsor and TA leadership.
  • Lead the selection of new systems and vendors, partnering with Talent systems, legal, etc. This may include managing an implementation vendor.
  • Develop and implement project communication plans; prepare and present project documentation, including status updates, project plans, and other reporting documents to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
  • 5 years of related professional work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects involving multiple workstreams and involving significant change management
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies/project life cycle
  • Sound foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture
  • Sense of balance between the roles of project manager and technical advisor
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Thrive at managing and transforming ambiguity to clarity and structure
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Systems thinker (end to end; people, process, technology)
  • Experience with driving key, complex project decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years professional work experience
  • Experience with HR systems such as Paradox, Workday, iCIMS, Avature CRM, etc
  • 5+ years of experience leading HCM projects and implementing HR systems/modules
  • PMP certification
  • Degree in business, human resources or computer science.
