Scrum Master, Customer Technology Solutions

In the Scrum Master role, you’ll serve as a servant leader, helping our Feature Leads and Development teams to self-organize and deliver value for the CFA One platform.
 
We need you to apply your organization and leadership skills to help the Feature Leads understand and apply the Scrum methodology, as well as helping to plan and break down work in increments that the development teams can deliver successfully. Additionally, you’ll work with the Development teams to help them self-organize, focus on outcomes in an effort to get to a mutually accepted definition of “done” and help remove roadblocks that impede progress.

This role is based in Atlanta, GA

NOTE: This is a limited time, 3 year assignment role. 

• Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example.
• Assess the Scrum knowledge maturity of the development team and coach the team in an effort to increase knowledge and adoption of the scrum methodology.
• Guide and coach the development team on self-organization in order to allow the team to fill in the intentional gaps in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Remove roadblocks and to help empower the team to deliver their commitments in each sprint cycle.
• Build a trusting and fun environment where problems can be raised in an effort to continuously make progress and improve the CFA One product.
• Facilitate getting the work done without directly assigning the work to the team.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team.
• Help the Feature Lead with internal development team communication as well as communication outside of the team to improve transparency.
• Support the Feature Lead by helping to refine and manage the product backlog.

• Knowledge of other methodologies within in the Agile space, including: Kanban, LeSS, and SAFe
• Experience with Agile techniques, including: User Stories, Agile Games, Automated Testing, and Test Driven Development
• Experience leading teams through exercises to fill in the intentional process gaps in the Scrum methodology, including: Retrospectives, Burndown techniques, and bug tracking.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• 2-3 years of related professional experience.
• First Level Scrum Certification (CSM, PSM I)

• Advanced Scrum Master certification (A-CSM, CSP, PSM II)
