The Restaurant Financial Systems team provides Operators and those who serve them with tools, reports and systems that equip them for profitable growth.  We do this by building robust data infrastructure, maximizing the effectiveness of our systems portfolio, and offering users relevant and timely insights about their businesses.

This position is responsible for working with staff teams to support the overall business critical Food & Menu Item Cost systems by accurately entering and maintaining critical data and systems, running monthly processes to create accurate reports for Operators in a timely manner.


The person in this role will develop knowledge of 1-2 systems, serving as a point of contact for knowledge on the system and processes. This staff member will also be responsible for partnering on analysis and visualization of food cost data as business needs emerge.  Specifically, serving as a member of a team and participating in the monthly reporting processes, answering ad hoc questions, while supporting others on the team as they complete their separate responsibilities. 


This role requires a high level of drive for accuracy, attention to detail, collaboration and process improvement mindset.


  • Learn the fundamental concepts and procedures for 1-2 systems and multiple data sets
  • Learn and perform multiple time-sensitive system and reporting processes to efficiently and accurately review and adjust data, ultimately producing timely and accurate reporting to serve CFA Staff and Operators
  • Troubleshoot and improve processes to meet changes in the business and be responsible for initiating maintenance and enhancements discussions with IT to the system(s) and data sets
  • Use analytical tools to improve, adapt, and streamline internal processes
  • Create and update Tableau dashboards as business needs emerge or data trends change; communicate trends by presenting findings clearly and professionally
  • Assist in prioritization of backlog items, documentation of requirements and testing of new features
  • Interact with other Staff, Accountants, Consultants, and Operators as needed to facilitate production of financial reports and provide a high level of customer service with timely responses to Ad-Hoc questions, at times representing the team in cross-functional meetings
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system and data errors when issues arise. Communicate errors/issues with partners in IT.
  • Synchronize and collaborate with the team for gained knowledge and expertise to ensure all processes are completed accurately and on time
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners on projects for process and system improvements, enhancements, or replacements 
  • Performing data analysis of food cost impacts and communicating to key stakeholders and at times Restaurants and Operators

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, MIS or a relevant field
  • Computer skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Attention to details, high sense of responsibility and accuracy
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience
  • Excellent interpersonal relational skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams and independently
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset, able to understand intricate details and how they relate to each other in the broader scope of a system
  • Self-starter who sees needs and proactively completes tasks to meet the needs, exhibits a personal desire for excellence, eagerness to learn and process improvement mindset
  • Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship
  • Ability to manage multiple and varying tasks, processes and/or projects while being able to appropriately prioritize work
  • 2 years’ experience
  • Minimum GPA – 3.0

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience within the restaurant industry
  • Experience with Oracle or other similar ERP systems
  • Experience managing data infrastructure and business systems
  • Experience with either SQL, Tableau, Alteryx or another analytical tool.
  • Experience with product management or ownership through DevOps
